Is boOop! free?
Yes. Track up to 2 pets with profiles, vaccination records, a timeline, medication and care reminders, and 1 photo per record. There are no ads or subscriptions. boOop+ is an optional one-time lifetime unlock purchased inside the app. See pricing in the app.
Does it work without internet or an account?
Yes. Core tracking, reminders, and access to your pet records work offline, with no boOop! account required. Pet records stay on your device. Downloads, updates, purchases, and purchase restoration may require internet. See the Privacy Policy for information about technical diagnostics and third-party services.
Can I track both dogs and cats?
Yes. Create a separate profile for each dog or cat and keep their health records and care history together in the app. Free supports up to 2 pets; boOop+ supports up to 7.
Can I share records with my vet?
Yes. With boOop+, you can create a PDF Vet Report for a pet and share it using your phone’s sharing options. PDF reports are a paid feature. You can also review your pet’s records together directly in the app.
What happens if I change phones?
Create a manual backup before changing phones. Free exports your records as a data-only file without photos. boOop+ can export a complete backup including photos. Transfer the file and restore it on your new phone.
Restoring replaces the app’s current local records. There is no automatic cloud sync, and a backup does not restore your purchase. Read the backup and purchase restoration steps before moving.
Can my family sync the same pet’s records?
Shared cloud sync is not currently available. Records live on one device, and manual backup and restore do not keep devices synchronized. Booop Pack in boOop+ groups care for several pets on one device; it does not sync with other caregivers.
